When? Sunday 3rd June after our service.
We will leave from ‘The Bridge’ after our service, and make our way to the car park at the end of Beach Road in Portballintrae for 1.30pm. The walk is the Portballintrae Causeway Loop walk Get more info here. It’s only 5.5 miles long so no excuses!! If it’s nice we can hang out on the beach after.
What do I need to bring? Strong walking shoes or boots, a waterproof jacket, packed lunch, a water bottle and possibly some sunscreen! If heading to the beach, make sure to pack your bucket and spade 😉
** Walled City Marathon is also on in Derry, so it may be the best to take the back road to bypass the City on your journey up to Portballintrae.
